What is Satchandi Puja?
Satchandi Puja is a highly auspicious Vedic ritual in which the Durga Saptashati (Chandi Path) is recited seven times in its entirety. "Sat" means seven, and this puja involves seven complete recitations of the 700 verses of the Markandeya Purana dedicated to Goddess Chandi — the supreme form of Shakti.
This puja is performed to invoke the Goddess's most powerful blessings for protection from all evils, removal of obstacles, fulfillment of desires, and overall well-being of the family. It is considered more powerful than a single Chandi Path and is often performed for major life events or serious problems.
At Prey Pandit, our experienced pandits perform the complete Satchandi Puja with all seven recitations, havan, and Kumari Puja as per Vedic tradition.
